6 - What information is needed to make a freight quote?


To request a quotation for the shipment of your cargo, you must provide:

  • City of origin

  • Destination city

  • Deadline

  • Weight

  • Volume quantity

  • Volume measurements

  • Invoice Amount

  • Material Type




7 - What documents are required for loading a cargo?


The invoice is essential. In some exceptional cases, declarations are accepted, but in that case, insurance coverage will be limited to the freight charge only.




8 - Do you work with hazardous cargo?


Yes, as long as it is packed according to IATA standards and with the proper documentation - SHIPPER DECLARATION.




9 - For shipment of perishable cargo, what is the necessary packaging / terms for acceptance and delivery?


The packaging must be appropriate for the product. There are cases in which the product needs to be packed in Styrofoam boxes and dry ice to help maintain the temperature. The acceptance and delivery period will vary according to the location. Contact our team for more information.




10 - Is there a weight limit?


It depends on the contracted service. We can offer several possibilities to meet your needs.




11 - Do you provide packaging?


Yes, however, depending on the package, an additional fee will be charged.




12 - What is real weight?


Actual weight is the weight reported by the scale.




13 - What is Case cube?


Case Cube is the weight x space ratio that the merchandise occupies.

Large and lightweight materials are usually cubed. To calculate the case cube of a product, one must first make sure it is properly packaged for transportation. After the product is packed, check the dimensions, which are: length, height and width.

The formula applied for calculating it is (length (m) x height (m) x width (m) / 6000; Ex: actual weight of the goods is 4 kg and the packaging measures are: Length 50 cm, Height 30 cm and width 25 cm: 50x40x30 / 6000: 10kg cubed.




14 - Are there weight and size limits for transportation?


Everything will depend on the chosen service. For greater security in the transport of your product, contact our team and we will have the best solution for each shipment.




15 - What is the correct packaging for transportation?


The correct packaging is always the one that will guarantee the safety of the product.




16 - What is the appropriate packaging for transporting glass?


In general, glass should be packed in properly closed wooden boxes and the contents fixed and locked to avoid displacement. In addition, identification tags must be on the outside.




17 - What is Ad-valorem?


It is a fee calculated based on the value of the goods, that is, on the total value of the invoice for insurance purposes.




18 - What is Sefaz?


State Finance Department is responsible for the tax, financial, and budget administration. In certain states, Sefaz has a station at airports to carry out inspections of goods and respective documents, in order to verify the taxes calculated and collected.

After being disembarked from the aircraft, the goods must be sent directly to the Sefaz station and, after clearance, become available to the airlines. It is possible that delivery times are influenced by the procedure of the agency, which may vary due to its volume of work and / or service hours.




19 - What is a PIN?


PIN stands for National Merchandise Entry Protocol, which is a document generated by SUFRAMA (Manaus Free Trade Zone Superintendence) from the data sent by the sending companies through the WS SINAL. This document is required, and needs to be presented at the Centralization Posts of Inspection of SUFRAMA together with the tax documentation (invoices, bills of lading and cargo manifest) and the incoming merchandise, so that the Physical Inspection of the Merchandise is made.




20 - What is Suframa?


It is a mandatory electronic document issued by the sending company for each invoice and associated with a cargo carrier.

The carrier then generates the Suframa Manifesto, which contains all the PINs, and, after the inspection, proceeds with the delivery. For cargo sent from outside the Free Zone, it is necessary that when receiving the goods, the destination company confirms the approval with the Suframa portal. For these procedures, all companies involved must have a registration at Suframa.

Cargo inspections are carried out according to their classifications: Green, Red and Gray.

Green Inspection - created to speed up the process, cargo classified as green does not need physical inspection, that is, the tax office technically analyses their documents and proceeds with the approval of the PIN.

Red Inspection - When the merchandise falls into the red category, physical and documentary inspections are mandatory. The physical inspection is carried out by sampling at the Infraero post (TECA III), in the case of air freight, and at the Road Inspection Center when it comes to road freight.

Gray Inspection - when classified as Gray, the goods undergo an inspection of the documents and 100% of the cargo is physically inspected. This procedure needs to be schedule with Suframa by the carrier.




21 - What are the delivery times for each service modality?

23 - What are the payment and billing methods?


The credit provided is released through a financial analysis and in most cases the payment must be made by bank deposit.
